This bedroom was designed as a calm and romantic retreat within a coastal holiday home. A beautiful wallpaper featuring seabirds in soft aqua tones sets the mood, while a striped upholstered headboard adds a classic coastal feel and brings the scheme together. To make the most of the space, a bespoke cabinet was designed to provide generous storage, with clever concealed wiring for the bedside lamp to keep everything looking neat and uncluttered. The upholstered bed and headboard, day bed, wall lights, table lamp, artwork and bedside tables were all carefully designed to create a relaxed, layered interior. To complete the scheme, the client's existing mirror was given a fresh coat of paint to tie in with the new palette, while natural jute flooring adds warmth, texture and another subtle nod to the home's seaside setting. The result is a peaceful, welcoming bedroom that's perfect for unwinding after a day by the coast.
